Insta-Chain, the innovative leader in the automatic ice chain industry, announces the upgrade to a hardened 100% grease-able needle bearing for the chain wheel arm. During testing, this bearing gave twice the life of the previous self-lubricating journal arm bearing. The new part numbers assigned to the newly designed model will be in the 3000 series.

Insta-Chain now has 100% grease-able bearings in both the arms and chain wheels. No other automatic tire chain has these features, to date. Insta-Chain also has full dust covers over the air cylinders, and both a 6-chain and a 12-chain version of the automatic tire chain system with individually replaceable chain segment plates. Insta-Chain is the only provider with a 12-chain model.

Insta-Chain, the innovators in automatic snow and ice chains, unveiled today, at the IAFC in Kansas City, a new Universal Mounting Bracket. The new Universal Mounting Bracket will dramatically revolutionize the way Insta-Chain and its dealers do business.

In the past, dealers and customers who wanted automatic tire chains were required to measure their vehicle and send the measurements to Insta-Chain to have a custom mounting brackets made. Now, the customer will not have to measure each truck. The new Universal Mounting Bracket will eliminate measurement error by the customers, and make mounting adjustments very easy.

Because mounting brackets will no longer have to be custom made for each truck, the new Universal Mounting Bracket will reduce the shipping lead time from Insta-Chain, save time and money on installations, and allow dealers to stock inventory for impulse buyers . The new Universal Bracket will fit most spring and air ride suspensions.
